Discovering lice is one of the most stressful and embarrassing events in the journey of parenting school-aged children. Rest assured, you are not alone. I have four kids, who were 10, 10, 9 and 5 when I started Honeycombers. My daughter Katrina has waist-long, gorgeous thick hair. Together, my babysitter and I combed her for SIX hours one day in the midst of one of our two lice infestations. Then we got to work combing the other three girls and did it again, and again, day after day… And the laundry, wow, I did twelve loads in one day the first time my kids brought lice home from school!
Lice are far more prevalent than you think. They're in your community’s schools, church groups, daycares, and camps. It’s just that nobody sits down and dishes about how all the boys got lice from a batting helmet at practice. No one Facebooks about washing bed linens for three days. But parents are fighting it every day, just like you.
We’re here to help. I am obsessed with solving this problem for my customers, and we’re on the right track.
